“Are people cremated one at a time?”

This is one of those questions folks might be a little hesitant to ask, but it's an important one!

Randy's Answer:

Yes! Each person is cremated individually. In fact, that's an important part of making sure your loved one's remains are handled properly and respectfully.

Here at Three Rivers, we have our own private crematory, which means your loved one never has to leave our care to be transported to another cremation provider.

We follow identification procedures throughout the process to make sure every loved one is properly identified and cared for.

We know families put a tremendous amount of trust in us, and we take that responsibility seriously.

What's a business, restaurant, or hangout spot that used to be in Fort Gibson that you REALLY wish was still around?

Ask Us Anything: How long does it take to get cremated remains back?

This is a question we get pretty often, and it's a good one!

The answer is that it depends on a few things. Before cremation can take place, there are certain documents, authorizations, and permits that have to be completed. Once everything is in order, we can move forward with the cremation process.

The good news? Here at Three Rivers, we have our own private crematory, which means your loved one stays in our care throughout the process.

We know families are often anxious to have their loved one back home, and we do everything we can to make that happen as smoothly and promptly as possible.

We'll keep you informed along the way, so you're never left wondering what's happening or what comes next.

You can hear the first few notes of a song and suddenly you’re right back there with a person, in a place, remembering a moment you haven’t thought about in years.

Maybe it was their favorite song. Maybe you always sang it together. Or maybe there’s no real reason at all
