I am always encouraging “touch points”—intentional moments of connection—with the people I am honored to walk alongside in their marriage journey. And this is why:
Life is busy. The demands never stop. There will always be dishes, emails, errands, appointments, and responsibilities competing for our attention.
Dates, day dates, or even simple moments of connection don’t have to be extravagant or cost money. Sometimes they look exactly like this—still in your gym clothes, taking a walk on the bridge, holding hands, and having an uninterrupted conversation.
These moments give us the opportunity to check in with each other, check on each other, and hold space for one another. They remind us that beneath all of life’s responsibilities, we are still partners, friends, and teammates.
The blessings that can come from just one hour of undivided attention are truly priceless. 🥹🙏🏼💙
Make the time for your spouse. Your relationship deserves the same care and attention you give to everything else.
