Taking care of your brain is just as important as taking care of the rest of your body. Small daily habits can help support memory, focus, and long-term cognitive health as you age.
πŸ’‘ Brain Health Tips:
βœ” Stay physically active with regular movement or exercise
βœ” Challenge your mind with reading, puzzles, or learning something new
βœ” Prioritize quality sleep each night
βœ” Eat a balanced diet rich in fruits, vegetables, and healthy fats
βœ” Stay socially connected with friends, family, and community activities
βœ” Manage blood pressure, cholesterol, and overall heart health
Healthy lifestyle habits may help reduce risk and support overall brain function over time.
This month is a reminder to prioritize both brain health and overall wellness β€” for yourself and the people you love. πŸ’™

If you've been asking yourself where our beautiful arrangements around our campus came from, you can look no further than the amazing third grade class at FKES.

Thank you to these wonderful students for giving our patients, families and visitors a beautiful sight to see.

🩸 World Blood Donor Day
A single blood donation can help save multiple lives. Every day, patients rely on donated blood during emergencies, surgeries, cancer treatments, and ongoing medical care.
World Blood Donor Day is a reminder of the incredible impact blood donors make in communities around the world. By donating blood, you can provide hope, healing, and life-saving support to someone in need.
If you are able, consider becoming a blood donor and helping make a difference for patients and families in your community. ❀️

Staying hydrated is one of the simplest β€” and most important β€” ways to support your health during the warmer months. As temperatures rise, your body loses more fluids through sweat, which can increase the risk of dehydration, fatigue, headaches, dizziness, and heat-related illness.
Whether you’re working outdoors, exercising, traveling, or simply spending more time in the sun, make hydration a daily priority. Carry a reusable water bottle, drink water regularly throughout the day, and take breaks in cool or shaded areas when possible.
Remember: if you’re already feeling thirsty, your body may already be dehydrated. Small habits can make a big difference in helping you stay healthy, energized, and safe this summer. β˜€οΈπŸ’™
