- Our next client Spotlight is one of legend. A Yankee legend to be exact.
*
- Meet .Nelson43 who came to us after a complex knee surgery. As a 4 time World Series champion not much could slow him down in his career. This knee surgery slowed him down in retirement though so we were called in to get him right. In retirement Jeff is still very involved in the Yankees organization and on the golf course as well as with philanthropic endeavors. A true ace in every sense.

- We asked Jeff some questions so you can get to know him too:

1. What brought you to Aries PT?
- My doctor Recommended Aries after my knee replacement. He told me they were the best.

2. What is your proudest achievement in life?
- Being a father to four girls.
*
3. What is your favorite hobby?
- Right now, golfing. I love staying active and competitive.
*
4. What have you learned about PT that you didn’t know before?
- I played professional baseball so I had been familiar with PT throughout my career but I had never had the dry needling done. That’s an experience and a game changer. Not the most fun thing in the world, but effective.

5. What would you tell someone who is unsure if PT would help them?
- If you plan on getting back to a normal lifestyle, not doing anything won't help you do that. Physical therapy definitely helps you get back to a normal lifestyle and back to doing what you like to do.

- Our next client Spotlight is here and it is a cool one!

- Meet who came to us in preparation for his amazing task of summiting Mt. Everest! He is a unique type of patient as his PT is focused around readiness for a massive upcoming feat. Ash is a lawyer by trade and in the real estate world as well when he isn’t conquering major climbs.

- We asked Ash some questions so you can get to know him too:

1. What brought you to Aries PT?
Pain in the outside of the leg as well as shoulder pain. I went to another PT place and was not happy with it. I am very happy now.

2. What is your proudest achievement in life?
My daughter. She is my pride and joy
*
3. What is your favorite hobby?
Do you even have to ask? Mountain climbing
*
4. What have you learned about PT that you didn’t know before?
The need for consistency, and how all the muscle groups work together. The muscle groups support each other and when one area is injured other muscles have to compensate and could start to have pain as well.

5. What would you tell someone who is unsure if PT would help them?
I would tell them it’s absolutely worth it! There is always room for improvement.

Our next client Spotlight is . George is a top ranking FBI official and world class martial arts fighter. When George isn’t protecting the country, he is training two a days at American Top Team. Quite frankly, this man is an absolute boss and a motivation to us day in and day out at the clinic. We asked the Special Agent In Charge some questions so you could get to know him too:

1. What brought you to Aries PT?

I was looking for a PT that was going to fit my needs of 1 on 1 coaching, commitment, and individualization of my program.

2. What is your proudest achievement in life?

Being able to join the FBI. We moved here when I was 12 and I became a naturalized citizen at 17. Everyone told me I would never make it into the FBI and proving them wrong and achieving that dream was my proudest moment.

3. What is your favorite hobby?

Martial arts.

4. What have you learned about PT that you didn’t know before?

I learned about new technology of BFR that allowed for stimulus without high resistive loads. It has been super beneficial to my speed of recovery.

5. What would you tell someone who is unsure if PT would help them?

I would say it is absolutely necessary especially if your goal is to return to full activity and pain free.

- Our Next Client Spotlight is Bill Glazer!

- Bill is one of the most supportive people to ever walk through our doors; as well as one of the most interesting. Bill was an entrepreneur in the theater industry, “selling popcorn” as he likes to put it. His success allowed him to retire early to south Florida with his husband Thom (who has an astonishing career himself as a mental health director for Care Plus). He enjoys the , the local restaurant scene, and his trips to Aries where he has become one of our company’s closest friends!

We asked Bill some questions so you can get to know him too:

1. What brought you to Aries PT?
 
After a fall, I sustained an injury to both my rotator cuff and knee. I went to an orthopedic doctor that told me that if I wanted to get better Aries was the place to go.

2. What is your proudest achievement in life?

Having built and expanded a company to a sufficient size that I could retire at an early age.

3. What is your favorite hobby?

Discovering new restaurants and experiencing the many great shows and productions in South Florida.

4. What have you learned about PT that you didn’t know before?

The competency and knowledge of the therapist makes all the difference in the world. Physical therapy is not the same everywhere and it takes someone with not only the (DPT) degree, but the know how to get you where you want to be.

5. What would you tell someone who is unsure if PT would help them?

Absolutely it will help - like the above answer - My frame of reference is Aries and they are the gold standard in this area.

Our next client Spotlight is .mcmahon . Terrance is a retired CEO, best-selling author and social media mentor. He specializes in helping people build a location independent business and work from anywhere. Terrance live in Fort Lauderdale with his fiancé Michele and enjoy travel and mentoring the younger generation. In 2017 Terrance was the recipient of a life saving liver transplant. Terry’s newest hobby is giving us marketing tips and tricks and talking trash with us throughout his sessions!

1. What brought you to Aries PT?

I was referred by my surgeon after a total knee replacement.

2. What is your proudest achievement in life?

Starting a successful business that allows me to live the life and do the things I love while also helping others do the same.

3. What is your favorite hobby?

Travel is my favorite. I have a location independent business so I can travel.

4. What have you learned about PT that you didn’t know before?

When I was younger I used to go through the motions of PT. I now know that without PT I would not be able to have the quality of life that I want.

5. What would you tell someone who is unsure if PT would help them?

It’s a no brainer to go to PT plus you get to create a new routine around living better while you are here and keep it going after you leave.

- Our next client Spotlight is ! Greg is an amazing member of the Fort Lauderdale community. He not only owns and chops it up at Nobleman’s Cut and Shave, he also is a real estate agent, has a hair product line, runs the backpack barber foundation (helping the homeless community) AND is a loving husband and father to two awesome kids.

- Greg welcomed us into the community with open arms when we first opened (and keeps us all looking fresh) so we wanted you all to get to know him too:

1. What brought you to Aries PT?

I had shoulder surgery, one on each shoulder. I’ve gone to Aries both times. I can always trust them to get me right.

2. What is your proudest achievement in life?

My ongoing sobriety! (A leader by example. - A)

3. What is your favorite hobby?

Going to the gym! I’ve missed it during my recovery but I know the comeback is going to be huge!

4. What have you learned about PT that you didn’t know before?

The importance of muscles working together to help other muscles heal.

5. What would you tell someone who is unsure if PT would help them?

I would tell them that PT is not only great for healing but, also preventing an injury
