Connecting with Leaders. Learning from the Best. Bringing It Back Home.

Caring Home Care is proud to be represented at the Private Care Association National Conference in St. Petersburg, Florida, one of the leading national gatherings for nurse registries and the personal care industry.

Over three days, industry leaders from across the country are coming together to share ideas, discuss the future of personal care, explore new technology and resources, and strengthen the relationships that help move our industry forward.

For Caring Home Care, attending conferences like PCA is about more than networking. It’s about continuing to learn, staying connected to the issues affecting our industry, and bringing new ideas and best practices back to the communities and families we serve.

It has also been a great opportunity to reconnect with longtime colleagues and friends, including leaders in continuing education, healthcare technology, and EMR solutions.

We’re proud to be part of the national conversation surrounding the future of home care and nurse registries — and excited about what we can bring home from St. Petersburg.

Caring Home Care is proud to continue advocating for the future of Medicaid home based care.

This week, Sean Schwinghammer is attending the board meeting of the Partnership for Medicaid Home Based Care (PMHC), a national organization that brings together home care providers, managed care organizations and other healthcare leaders to advocate for strong, sustainable Medicaid home based services.

Caring Home Care is a founding member of PMHC and has remained involved in its work to educate and serve as a resource for policymakers and regulators.

Pictured with Sean is Deb Oberman of Help at Home, the current President of PMHC. Sean and Deb previously served together when Sean was a member of the organization’s Executive Committee.

We’re proud to continue being part of the national conversation surrounding the future of home care and Medicaid.

Happy National Senior Citizens Day!

Today is an opportunity to recognize and celebrate the older adults who have contributed so much to their families, communities and generations that follow.

At Caring Home Care, we understand how important it is for seniors to maintain their independence, dignity and connection to home. The right support can help make that possible while giving families greater peace of mind.

Today, we celebrate every senior and the stories, experiences and wisdom they continue to share.

“No one thinks they’re going to need a private caretaker or aide, but when that time comes, you can’t go wrong with Caring Home Care.”

We’re grateful to Kevin for sharing his family’s experience.

When his father became sick and needed 24 hour care, our team worked to help coordinate the level of support his family needed, including assistance with feeding, bathing, toileting and other daily needs.

Finding care for someone you love can feel overwhelming. Our goal is to help families understand their options and connect them with the support their loved one needs at home.

Thank you, Kevin, for the 5 star review and for placing your trust in Caring Home Care.

If your parents needed help at home tomorrow, would your family know what to do?

Do you know where their Long Term Care Insurance policy is? What it covers? Who their doctors are? What medications they take? How they feel about receiving help at home? Who would step in if a family caregiver needed a break?

These aren’t always easy conversations, but having them BEFORE a crisis can make a difficult situation much easier to navigate.

Home care can start with just a few hours of assistance and increase as needs change. Families may also have options for paying for care through Private Pay or Long Term Care Insurance.

At Caring Home Care, we can help families understand those options and determine what may work best for their situation.

Take a few minutes to go through these 8 steps, then save this post and share it with your family.

What an incredible week at HomeCareCon 2026 in Orlando!

Sean Schwinghammer and Michelle Melo represented Caring Home Care at the Home Care Association of Florida's annual conference, where providers, healthcare leaders, managed care organizations, educators, and policymakers from across the state came together to discuss the future of home care.

Over four days, we participated in educational sessions, leadership discussions, and legislative updates while connecting with industry leaders from organizations including Humana, Sunshine Health, Florida Community Care, Molina, Aetna, UnitedHealthcare, and many more.

As a proud member of the Home Care Association of Florida for more than 10 years, Caring Home Care remains committed to staying involved in the conversations that help improve care for the patients and families we serve. Our participation in committees such as the Government Affairs Committee allows us to help advocate for positive changes throughout Florida's healthcare system.

This year's theme, "IGNITE: Spark What's Next!", perfectly captured the energy of the conference—encouraging providers to learn, innovate, and continue raising the standard of care.

Thank you to everyone we had the opportunity to meet, and thank you to the Home Care Association of Florida for hosting another outstanding event. We're already looking forward to next year!
