🎉 We're thrilled to reveal our fourth Chefs Up Front chef: Celebrity Chef Robyn Almodovar 🎉

If the name sounds familiar, it's because Chef Robyn has made a name for herself on national television — competing on Hell's Kitchen (twice!), winning Chopped and Cutthroat Kitchen, and most recently appearing on Food Network's 24 in 24: Last Chef Standing.

A Staten Island native with Puerto Rican and Italian roots, Chef Robyn has been cooking since childhood and built her career in South Florida's top kitchens, including her own food truck, Palate Party, named Best Food Truck in Miami in 2013.

This fall marks a huge milestone for her: the opening of Against All Odds (Aao), her first fully self-owned restaurant in Miami's Buena Vista neighborhood, a menu that draws from every chapter of her incredible journey.

We're honored to have Chef Robyn bring her talent and story to Chefs Up Front this October, supporting South Florida's kids and seniors.

At FLIPANY, our Senior Congregate Meals Program serves nutritious meals and connection and community to seniors across South Florida. Because growing older should never mean going hungry or going it alone.

We're shining a spotlight on Brent, one of our incredible AmeriCorps service members!

Brent's journey with FLIPANY started as a NIFA Intern, helping spread nutrition know-how across the county. Today, he's serving as an AmeriCorps member, teaching MyPlate and nutrition basics alongside our afterschool instructors, and making sure our sites are running smoothly for the kids and families we serve every day.

Ask Brent his favorite part of the job, and he'll tell you it's getting to stick with the same instructor and the same kids all summer long. Real relationships, not just quick hellos. Because he knows healthy habits spread furthest when kids bring what they learn home to share with their families.

Brent isn't just a teacher. he's a champion for health, wellness, and the kids and families at every site he supports. Thank you for everything you do, Brent! 💛

That's over half a million meals that meant a full belly, more energy to play, and one less thing for families to worry about this summer.

531,276 meals. Countless smiles. One mission: no kid should have to face summer on an empty stomach.
