Open your heart.
I've been having a lot of conversations about vulnerability lately. So much that's happening in the world seems to encourage contraction rather than expansion.
Our echo chamber of ideas.
Our rejection of differences.
Our denial of Truth when it does not suit our needs.
These are all self-imposed limitations...but this is safer, right? We're protected by closing off. Shutting down. Closing our eyes. Blocking off our hearts. Like...Where's the love? I don't mean it (exactly) in the "let's just hug it out" way.
I mean it in the way that extends Grace to the concepts we can't wrap our heads around but accept that one person's experience/path/ideals may not mirror our own but have the humility to understand that they may think we're the one's who are wrong.
In the way that we extend that grace rather than quickly point a finger to condemn.
Being open means allowing ourselves to be vulnerable. It's not necessarily "safe" but it is necessary to be healthy...how else can we learn and grow?
