Who We Are

We here at Edify Creative Counseling Group believe that man's three areas of physical, spiritual and emotional needs must be met if the individual is to remain strong and healthy. Spiritual needs demand a relationship with the Lord God that gives meaning and reason to existence. Emotional needs require an opportunity to socialize (Inclusion), have power over others or have others take

power over him (Control), and the need for love, affection and deep personal relationships (Affection). Needs in all three areas are biologically placed within him by God, and if they are not met according to each man’s individual creation, he will suffer physical breakdown, spiritual carnality and emotional stress. All needs must be met within the parameters of God's creative design. Edify Creative Counseling group was founded by Rev. Dr. Jason Prendergast, as a means to provide therapy and counseling to those battling depression, anxiety, co-dependency, various disorders and addictions; through Temperament Therapy. Temperament Therapy is the mechanism to find balance between body, soul and spirit, allowing man to be the best that God created him to be. If the soul and spirit are to remain in balance, the three temperament areas of Inclusion, Control and Affection must be balanced. If the soul and spirit are out of balance, the physical man will break down. We must understand this order to provide a means for achieving balance.
