I’ve been working with my therapist and my team for over 20 years. I’m always so busy making sure our patients have the right schedules, the best care, and everything they need that I never really had the opportunity to stop and experience what it feels like to be the patient.
Today, during my physical therapy, I had a moment of gratitude that brought tears to my eyes.
I realized how incredibly blessed I am to have the staff that I do. They are caring, attentive, compassionate, and truly dedicated to giving their patients the very best care. And being a patient myself allowed me to see firsthand that they are exactly the kind of caregivers I have always wanted representing my agency.
They are a reflection of the values I believe in and the care I have always wanted my patients to receive.I left therapy today with a grateful heart, thanking God for putting these wonderful people in my life and allowing me to work alongside them. 🙏❤️
Sometimes, you have to be on the other side of the care to truly appreciate just how special your team is.
So proud of my staff. And so thankful for each one of them.

One of the most important principles in wound care is understanding that sometimes a wound cannot heal effectively until devitalized, necrotic, or nonviable tissue is removed.
These photos demonstrate the difference that appropriate debridement can make. The tissue that appears dark and necrotic in the first image has been removed, revealing a cleaner wound bed underneath

For 12 years, I’ve had the privilege of caring for Lisa. She only seems to need me when life gets hard, and every time, I was able to be there. Nursing isn’t just about treatments or medications—it’s about holding a hand, bringing comfort, and reminding someone they are not alone.
