🎬 BRAIN LOVE CITY PREMIERE NIGHT 🧠
Join us for the premiere of Brain Love City and an evening of entertainment, community, and connection.

Walk the red carpet, enjoy a movie night experience, and be part of a movement that reminds us that mental wellness doesn’t always have to be a heavy conversation.
Because sometimes healing begins with laughter.
Comedy is therapy.

As we close out our Friday, take a moment to check in with the space around you and the space within you. 💜

Decluttering your environment can also help declutter your mind. Cleaning up that corner, organizing that room, throwing away what no longer serves you, or resetting your space for a new week ahead can create more peace, clarity, and emotional balance than you may realize.

Your environment impacts your mood, focus, stress levels, and overall mental wellness. Sometimes self-care isn’t a spa day. Sometimes it’s finally folding the clothes, clearing the desk, making the bed, or creating a space that feels safe and calming to return to.

As we head into the weekend, give yourself permission to reset gently, not perfectly. 🧠✨

Healing doesn’t always look dramatic.

Sometimes it looks like:
showing up anyway,
getting through the week,
resting without guilt,
or finally giving yourself permission to slow down.

Small progress still matters. 💜

As Mental Health Awareness Month continues, we hope this reminds you that healing is not linear and there is no “perfect” way to care for yourself.

What’s one small thing you’ve done for yourself lately? ⬇️

🧠💜 18 acts of care for your mind, body & nervous system.

Save this post, start tomorrow (May 13), and do one thing each day. That’s it.

At DRT Behavioral Services, we believe mental health is just as important as physical health.
Support doesn’t always require the perfect words — it starts with listening, showing up, and creating space for others to feel seen and heard.
Whether it’s offering emotional support or encouraging someone to take the next step, small actions can make a lasting impact.

Let’s continue to break the silence, support one another, and prioritize mental wellness in our communities. BRAIN LOVE ❤️

Dr. King reminded us that the work is collective — and that no one carries it alone.

Honoring his legacy today means committing to justice and remembering our humanity. Rest is not a retreat from the work; it’s how we sustain it. Caring for our mental health is part of caring for the movement.

What a beautiful night at The Holiday Blues. Thank you to everyone who came out, participated, and helped make this evening one to remember. We had an incredible time with Mike Phillips and all of our amazing performers who brought the music, energy, and heart to the room.

A special thank you to the L.A. Lee–Mizell Community Center (YMCA) for hosting us and to everyone who contributed to creating such a warm, welcoming space for community and connection.

As we move through the holiday season, we want to remind everyone to take care of themselves and each other. The holidays can be heavy for many, and it’s okay to slow down, check in, and ask for support. Thank you for celebrating with us and sharing in such a meaningful night. 💙✨

🎄 The Holiday Blues is Back — Year 3! 🎶🧠

Family, it’s that time again — The Holiday Blues returns, and we’re celebrating BIG this year! I’m so excited to share that the Broward County Cultural Division is officially supporting The DRT Brain Love Foundation, Inc. and the historic Sistrunk L.A. Lee YMCA for this year’s holiday production.

We’re bringing music, live performances, mental-health inspiration, and community joy all under one roof — right in the heart of Fort Lauderdale.

Kick off the evening with holiday cuisine, festive bites, and a beautiful dessert table curated by Garden of Soul (Miami Gardens) — the perfect way to connect, vibe, and warm up for an unforgettable night.

Today is Giving Tuesday, and we’re asking our community to stand with us in making mental health care accessible for those who need it most.

The DRT Brain Love Foundation provides low-cost mental health services, therapy support, education, and community programs for individuals and families who would otherwise go without care. Every dollar directly supports someone struggling with depression, grief, trauma, anxiety, or financial barriers to treatment.

Your contribution helps us:
• Cover therapy copays and prorated sessions
• Offer psychoeducation and community events
• Support wellness programming and mental-health-focused outreach
• Expand resources for underserved communities

If you’re able, please consider giving today. No amount is too small — your gift truly makes a difference.
