Dr. Feltham and our dedicated team are highly trained in the care of upper and lower extremities and specialize in treating sports injuries as well as non-sport-related orthopaedic injuries. Whether you’re hitting the field under the Friday night lights or squeezing in a weekend workout, what you do after activity matters just as much as the workout itself.

Give your body a better chance to bounce back:
💤 Rest up — recovery days help your body repair and recharge.
💧 Rehydrate — replace fluids before, during, and after activity.
📈 Build gradually — avoid jumping back into intense activity too quickly.
🧘 Keep moving — gentle stretching and mobility can help you stay loose.
🚩 Listen to your body — persistent pain, swelling, or limited movement shouldn’t be ignored.

If shoulder pain seems to get louder the second your head hits the pillow, there may be a reason. Sleeping position, inflammation, and conditions like rotator cuff injuries, tendonitis, arthritis, or impingement can all make nighttime pain more noticeable.
