Back in 2011, Tate tagged along with me for a day of community visits, wearing my name tag with his name on it. Today he helps with our social media while he's in school.

It reminds me how far back this little family business goes, and why I'm motivated every day: to be the best for those I love.

Hi everyone! I'm Scott Strachan, RN, BSN, and I'm proud to be the owner of Abby Services.

My story with Abby started in our clients' homes. I worked as a private caregiver referred through Abby Services, helping people with the everyday things that let them stay safely at home. That experience shaped everything that came after. I went on to become a registered nurse, and in 2007 I became the owner of the registry where I got my start.

I know firsthand what a good caregiver means to a family, and what it takes to be one. That's what I bring to every family we help find care.

Today is my father’s birthday. He founded Abby Services and taught me so much about what it means to be a father, a husband, a business owner, and, most importantly, a genuinely good person.

His legacy lives on in our family, in Abby Services, and in the lessons he passed down to me.
