TLDR; As you can tell I rarely post much but I came across this page today in the book I recently started and summarized my current mindset. I’m not here to preach or give the impression that I’m better than anyone else. I’m not perfect but I believe my intentions are pure. I just want to give back in anyway I can and as much as I can. There’s a certain feeling that can not be explained by giving selflessly. Medicine for me was never about money but being able to help people. And in a time when healthcare professionals are demonized it’s nice to go somewhere and be appreciated by the community for what you are truly trying to do. The genuine smiles is currency enough for me. A short collection of some of my favorite pics from the past week. My personal favorite is the girl with the polydactyl (extra little piggies) she was so happy to have a “normal” foot. I would like to thank for allowing me to participate and can’t wait to be back hopefully later this year. We have big plans coming up! Also would like to thank the team which was phenomenal especially my homies and . Connie always comes with the enthusiasm and new the members to the team J***y and Pam were amazing. Also was a pleasure to work and learn from Dr Jeff Richards
