Every TeleStroke consult starts before a neurologist ever appears on screen.

It starts when a nurse at a partner hospital recognizes something is wrong and sends an e-alert or makes the call. On the other end is our Rapid Response Center, the team that connects that request to the right specialist, keeps every detail straight, and stays with it until the patient is seen.

This Customer Service Week, we're recognizing both sides of that connection.

To our RRC team: you are the steady presence hospitals rely on in their most urgent moments. Your accuracy, composure, and follow-through make every consult possible, on every shift.

To the ED nurses, stroke coordinators, and bedside teams at our partner hospitals: you are the boots on the ground. Your fast recognition and clear communication give our physicians what they need to act.

This week, a group of TeleSpecialists physicians joined our leadership team in person for one purpose: to be heard.

As a physician-owned company, we believe the people providing care should help shape how that care is delivered. Our physicians shared what they see on every consult, what is working well for our partner hospitals, and where we can do better.

These conversations matter because our physicians are closest to the patient. Their insight guides the decisions that affect response times, clinical quality, and the support our partner hospitals rely on every day.

At ENA in Phoenix, the best conversations at booth 629 all started the same way.

A stroke alert that stalled at the consult.
A behavioral health patient in the department since Tuesday.
A night shift where the on-call list did not answer.

Emergency nurses don't stop at a booth for brochures. They bring a real problem and expect a straight answer.

So we kept every conversation on three questions:
✅ How fast does a neurologist actually reach the bedside, and who tracks that number?
✅ What does psychiatric coverage look like at two in the morning?
✅ How does any of this work in a department that is already short staffed?

This Telehealth Awareness Week, we want to thank the people who make digital healthcare work every day.
Virtual care succeeds because of the teams at the bedside. We see it in the nurses who bring the cart into the room, complete the assessment, and stay with the patient through every step. We see it in the emergency physicians who make time-sensitive decisions under pressure, and in the stroke coordinators who review every case and keep pushing their programs forward. We see it in the pharmacists, EEG technologists, and IT teams whose work often goes unnoticed but keeps care moving.
