It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Pat Weaver, beloved wife of Dr. Jack Weaver, one of our senior therapists at Synergy Counseling Center.

Pat was involved in a tragic automobile accident on Gault Avenue after leaving our offices yesterday. According to the Fort Payne Police Department, first responders immediately initiated life-saving measures at the scene. She was transported to DeKalb Regional Medical Center, where she was later pronounced deceased. Authorities have indicated that it is believed a medical episode may have caused the accident.

Our hearts are broken for Dr. Weaver, his family, and all who knew and loved Pat. We ask our friends, clients, and community to keep Dr. Weaver and his family in your prayers during this time of profound loss.

We appreciate your respect for the family’s privacy as they grieve. We will share information regarding arrangements as it becomes available and as the family desires.
