Midway Specialty Care Center is a nonprofit healthcare organization dedicated to providing compassionate, expert care for people affected by infectious diseases. We provide comprehensive care for infectious and complex
conditions, including HIV and hepatitis care, free HIV testing, prevention services, and long-term health support. Our approach combines medical expertise with education, support, and coordination—so patients not only receive care, but understand it and feel supported throughout the process. At Midway, we recognize that everyone’s healthcare journey is different. Some people come to us actively engaged in care and focused on maintaining their health. Others may be newly diagnosed, returning after time away, or unsure where to start. Our providers and care teams take the time to listen, explain options clearly, and help each patient move forward with confidence. Access to care is central to everything we do. We work to remove common barriers such as cost, insurance challenges, and stigma by offering free or low-cost services, assistance programs, and care navigation support. When additional services are needed, we help coordinate referrals and next steps so patients aren’t left to figure things out alone. Prevention is also a critical part of our work.
