Summer is in full swing here at KRI! 🌞

We have started our “Summer Clubs” and we are still loving the weekly cooking classes!!

Over Memorial Day weekend some of our staff and residents had the pleasure of volunteering for the Veterans of Foreign Wars VFW and the Fort Scott National Historic Site. Everyone enjoyed putting out and taking down the flags🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

KRI Ride for Kids T-Shirt Orders Are Open!

We are now taking orders for KRI Ride for Kids shirts for the event taking place July 25th.

Shirts are $20 each.

Shirts will be available for pickup at Kansas Renewal Institute the week prior to the event and also at the event on July 25th or the morning of the event at 5 Corners.

Shipping is available for an additional $10.

We had the pleasure of doing our first therapy sessions out at a Orion Ranch Sanctuary this week!

We read books, painted on canvases, skipped rocks on the pond, did yoga on the grass, met and bonded with the horses, and had some very therapeutic conversations.

This is such an exciting experience for our residents and our therapists couldn’t be happier to be able to do this with them.

Our residents requested some new book titles, so we delivered! These kiddos LOVE reading in their spare time, so we definitely wanted to feed that interest! 📚

What fun day for ice cream cones! We let the residents pick from four types of ice cream and man was it hard decision! 🍦

We even let our staff join in! 😋
