We are incredibly proud of our ARCOM students for partnering with Remote Area Medical to provide free medical, dental, and vision care to the Fort Smith community once again! The RAM clinic will return to Fort Smith on October 24-25.

The RAM clinic offers free dental, vision, and medical services, with no insurance, ID, or income requirements needed.

ARCOM recently welcomed 11 rising college sophomores and juniors to campus for the ARCOM Mentoring and Achievement Preparation (M.A.P.) Program!

Participants had the opportunity to experience life at ARCOM firsthand for one week by attending classes, meeting faculty and current student doctors, and developing skills through sessions on MCAT preparation, learning strategies, personal statement writing, and professionalism. The group included five students from Arkansas, two from Illinois, one from Michigan, and three from Texas.

Although their time on campus has come to an end, their connection to ARCOM is just beginning. Each participant will receive ongoing mentorship from an ARCOM faculty member and a current student doctor as they complete their undergraduate education.

We enjoyed having this group on campus and being part of their journey toward medical school!
