A little learning, a little friendly competition, and a whole lot of teamwork! 💙

Our Leadership Team recently spent time together at our Leadership Retreat, where we learned more about one another, welcomed some new faces to the team, and had plenty of fun along the way!

Of course, no retreat would be complete without a little competition! We put our teamwork to the test with a scavenger hunt, and somehow our newest Leadership Team members took home the win! 🏆👏

We wrapped up our time together with Melissa giving us a tour of the incredible progress happening at our new Village Early Learning Center. Seeing everything come together made us even more excited for what’s ahead!

We’re grateful for this team, the work we get to do together, and all the exciting things happening at Methodist Village! 💙

🎨Residents had a fantastic time exercising and painting colorful rocks alongside the Occupational Therapy students from ACHE.

Activities like these help promote physical wellness, creativity and meaningful social connections. Thank you to the ACHE School of Occupational Therapy students for making the day so special! 🎨☀️

🐾Happy National Dog Day🐾

We had so much fun with our Cutest Pet Contest alongside Animal Haven! Our contestants included two dogs, a baby possum and a cat.

Nico took home the win & Stitch found his forever home!❤️🏆🐾
He was adopted by a family member of one of our residents. We couldn’t have asked for a better National Dog Day surprise!!

Our FREE Community Caregiver Series offers practical information and support for family caregivers, healthcare professionals, and community members. This two-part class includes:

• Hands-on training
• Caregiving techniques
• Communication strategies
• Stress management

September classes will be held Tuesday, September 1 and Tuesday, September 15, from 5:30–7:30 p.m. Participants should plan to attend both sessions.
