Roses and honeysuckles are the flowers that represent the month of June.

Roses and honeysuckles bloom in very different ways, yet both offer something meaningful.

Roses are often associated with resilience. Their beauty exists alongside their thorns, reminding us that growth and strength can develop through life's challenges.

Honeysuckles, with their winding vines and sweet fragrance, symbolize connection, adaptability, and finding nourishment even as we navigate changing seasons.

Mental health journeys can look much the same. Some days call for resilience. Other days call for gentleness, flexibility, and support. Both are valuable parts of healing.

At The Quiet Grove, we believe growth doesn't have to be rushed. Sometimes it begins with a conversation, a moment of reflection, or simply making space for yourself.

Is it the baby blues, PPD, or PPA? πŸ’

Maternal mental health doesn’t look just one way, and symptoms can show up anytime during pregnancy or postpartum.

What you’re feeling might be:
β€’ Baby Blues
β€’ Depression
β€’ Anxiety
✳️ Perinatal Mental Health Disorders also include OCD, bipolar mood disorders, PTSD, and psychosis. ✳️

The Baby Blues are short-term dips in mood caused by the changes of having a baby, and typically dissipate on their own. Depression and anxiety are common, temporary, and treatable, but they do require support.

Too often, parents experience symptoms like: irritability, racing thoughts, guilt, sadness, intrusive thoughts, or constant worry… and don’t realize there’s a name for it.

When we connect the dots, we make maternal mental health visible.
And when it’s visible, it becomes treatable, supportable, and understood.

This May, we're Connecting the Dots for Maternal Mental Health!

For so many parents, a perinatal mental health disorder starts with just not feeling like themselves. This month we're focusing on making the connections so that more moms know that help is here and they can get better.

πŸ”΅ "Something feels off..." β†’ πŸ”΅ "This has a name..." β†’ πŸ”΅ "Help is here." β†’ πŸ”΅ "I can get better."

We're also kicking off Spring Climb Season on May 16 and hosting a Virtual Climb Weekend May 15-17 to raise awareness of maternal mental health and fundraise for PSI! Help us show moms that they are not alone, they are not to blame, and with help, they WILL be well πŸ’™
