Persistent tummy troubles, fatigue or changes in behavior can sometimes be a sign that it’s worth looking a little deeper. 🧩

At Parker Integrative Medicine, we offer a variety of testing options for children that may help provide additional insight — and many don’t require a traditional blood draw.

Depending on the concern, testing may include:
🧪 Food and immune reactivity testing
🌾 Wheat/gluten-related testing
🦠 Gut health testing
🧬 GeneSight® pharmacogenomic testing to help inform medication decisions
👆 Fingerprick, cheek swab, urine or stool-based options when available

The goal isn’t to assume every symptom has one cause. It’s to gather useful information, consider the whole picture, and help families have more informed conversations about their child’s care.

📞 Call (479) 222-4698 to learn more about available testing and whether it may be appropriate for your child.

Sometimes your labs fall within the “normal” range… but you still don’t feel like yourself.

Fatigue. Brain fog. Digestive issues. Changes in mood. Trouble sleeping. Unexplained aches. Feeling run-down. Symptoms that keep returning.

Routine bloodwork can provide incredibly valuable information, but sometimes there’s more to investigate.

At Parker Integrative Medicine, we can look deeper when your symptoms, history and standard testing suggest there may be more going on.

Depending on your individual needs, testing may explore:

🦋 Thyroid function
⚖️ Hormones
🧬 Autoimmune markers
🏠 Mold & mycotoxin exposure
🦠 Lyme & other infectious markers
🌿 Gut health & microbiome
🧪 Environmental toxins & heavy metals
🥬 Vitamin, mineral & nutritional deficiencies
💧 Hydration & electrolyte status
💊 Pharmacogenomic testing to help understand how your genetics may influence response to certain mental-health medications
🧬 Genetic variants such as MTHFR and their potential nutritional implications

The goal isn’t to order every test available. It’s to use your symptoms, health history and clinical picture to help determine which questions are actually worth asking.

Because “within range” is only one piece of the puzzle.

If you know something feels off, come talk to us. You are worthy of being listened to.

🧬Glutathione is often called the body’s “master antioxidant” — but what does that have to do with celiac disease? 👀

Research has found that people with celiac disease may have lower levels of reduced glutathione (GSH) and reduced activity of important glutathione-related antioxidant enzymes.

Why does that matter?

Glutathione is part of the body’s natural defense system against oxidative stress. When antioxidant defenses are reduced, the intestinal lining may be more vulnerable to oxidative damage — particularly during active inflammation.

The research suggests a potential cycle:

Gliadin exposure → increased oxidative stress → depleted antioxidant defenses → inflammatory signaling → intestinal cell damage

This doesn’t mean that taking glutathione can treat or cure celiac disease. The research does, however, highlight something fascinating:

✨ Celiac disease isn’t only about gluten exposure — oxidative stress and the body’s antioxidant defenses may also be part of the bigger picture.

💉 Interested in glutathione?
We offer glutathione injections and IV pushes as part of our wellness services.

Call (479) 222-4698 to learn more.

Always consult with a qualified healthcare provider to determine whether glutathione is appropriate for you and your individual health needs.

Supplement confusion? You’re definitely not alone. 💊

With so many vitamins, minerals and supplements available, it can be difficult to know what you actually need, what form to take, or whether your body is absorbing and using it effectively.

Dr. Toni can help you talk through your current supplements and individual needs rather than simply adding more bottles to the cabinet.

We also offer the Vibrant Wellness Nutrient Zoomer, which provides a more detailed look at nutrient status and genetic factors that may influence nutrient absorption, transport, metabolism and utilization.

Want a little more clarity around your supplements? Give us a call to schedule with Dr. Toni.

What is your gut trying to tell you? 👀

Bloating, abdominal discomfort, frequent trips to the bathroom—or not going often enough—can all be signs that something deserves a closer look.

And your gut may not be the only place you notice it. Brain fog, fatigue and changes in how you feel after eating can sometimes occur alongside digestive concerns.

There are many possible contributors, which is why guessing isn’t always the answer.

At Parker Integrative Medicine, we offer comprehensive gut testing to help take a closer look at digestive function, the microbiome, inflammation and more.

Ready to investigate what may be going on?
