What a difference a little sunshine makes. Following the storm, residents enjoyed a peaceful afternoon outdoors, surrounded by beautiful scenery, fresh air, and the calming sounds of nature. We were also treated to an unexpected and heartwarming surprise... we witnessed a beautiful wedding taking place in the park! 💍Moments like these remind us to slow down, appreciate the present, and find joy in life's simple pleasures.

We're spending time together. starting with morning exercise, enjoying puzzles with friends, testing their knowledge during game show play, Halloween & snacks and wrapping up the day with a relaxing Happy Hour. We're turning a stormy day into another opportunity to connect and enjoy each other's company. Again, a HUGE thank you to our incredible LA Team for coming down to assist and support The Retreat of FWB during this time. Hurricane? No problem! While the storm is outside, the fun is happening inside! We are thankful to share that the storm has moved through our area and all residents and associates are safe. Our community also has power. 🙏

At this time, we have no reports of property damage. We have experienced some water intrusion, which our team is actively working to remove. A more thorough assessment of the community will take place tomorrow during daylight hours.

We are incredibly grateful for our dedicated team who worked tirelessly to keep our residents safe and cared for throughout the storm.

Thank you to our families for your prayers, support, and trust. We will continue to share updates as needed. 💙
