✨ 2026 Scholarship Recipient Spotlight: Akilah Roland ✨

Meet Akilah, one of our 2026 Fort Wayne Nurses Ball scholarship recipients! 💚

Akilah is a sophomore nursing student with a passion for caring for others and a goal of becoming a PICU or ICU nurse. She is focused on excelling academically, including working toward earning a place on the Dean’s List, while continuing to grow into the compassionate nurse she hopes to become.

Akilah shares that her faith, family, and friends keep her grounded and encouraged throughout nursing school. Outside of class, she enjoys fashion, makeup, and expressing her creativity.

We’re proud to support Akilah as she continues her education and works toward making a meaningful difference for patients and their families. 🩺🎓

Congratulations, Akilah! We can’t wait to see where your nursing journey takes you.

✨ 2026 Scholarship Recipient Spotlight: Abigail Jauregui ✨

Meet Abby, one of our 2026 Fort Wayne Nurses Ball scholarship recipients! 💚

Abby is a nursing student at the University of Saint Francis and currently works with Parkview Health through the Student Nurse Program, where she is gaining hands-on experience alongside nurses on an inpatient oncology floor.

Her decision to pursue nursing is deeply personal. After watching several family members face health battles, Abby was inspired by the message that “no one fights alone.” She hopes to be the kind of nurse who makes every patient feel supported, seen, and cared for—no matter their diagnosis.

We are so proud to support Abby as she continues her nursing journey and prepares to make a difference in the lives of others.

What a night. 💚✨

The 9th Annual Fort Wayne Nurses Ball was everything we hoped for and more — a room full of love for the nursing profession.

To our incredible sponsors, donors, volunteers, board members, guests, and community partners — thank you. This night would not have been possible without you.

And judging by this dance floor… I think it’s safe to say we had a pretty good time too. 💃🕺🥂
