Stillwater Hospice staff and board members were honored to attend the Greater Fort Wayne Inc. Annual Meeting this evening.

We are incredibly grateful to have been recognized as a finalist for the Excellence in Nonprofit Award. To be nominated alongside so many outstanding organizations that work every day to strengthen and serve our community was truly an honor.

This recognition belongs to our dedicated team, volunteers, supporters, and the patients and families who trust us to walk alongside them during life’s most important moments.

Do you know what’s blooming (and who is zooming!) on the Stillwater Prairie?
Our team recently added a chalkboard near the prairie to share what’s happening in this special space all season long— including the names of native plants currently in bloom and the animals being spotted by staff, visitors and our wildlife cameras.
From flowers and grasses to birds, butterflies, deer and other prairie guests, the board offers a simple reminder: there is always something living, growing and changing around us.
The prairie is more than a beautiful part of our campus. It is a place of peace, reflection and connection with nature for patients, families, staff and visitors. Next time you are here, take a look and see what the prairie is sharing with us.

Grief does not follow a schedule.

At the Peggy F. Murphy Community Grief Center, adults receive compassionate support after the death of someone they love. Services are provided at no charge and include individual counseling, support groups and programs designed to help mourners find their way forward.
