Motiva Preservé is a newer, less-invasive approach to breast augmentation that Dr. Severinac is now offering.
The biggest difference is how the surgeon creates the pocket for the implant. With traditional augmentation, the surgeon generally dissects/cuts through tissue to make the implant pocket. With Preservé, specialized tools are used to separate and gently stretch the tissues, creating space for the implant while trying to preserve more of the breast’s natural internal structure. Motiva describes this as a tissue-preservation technique compared with conventional augmentation.

One of the attractive parts is the incision. Motiva says the incision can be around 2.5 cm in some patients, compared with roughly 4–6 cm for many conventional augmentations. That can mean a considerably smaller scar.
