Day 20 of 40 Days of Sankalpa: Going Through the Motions
There was a period when getting on my mat each morning felt like a chore.
I wasn’t inspired, but I trusted the process. I reminded myself that showing up imperfectly was still better than not showing up at all.
Some days, I found joy in the smallest things—the warmth of the room, the rhythm of my breath or one brief moment of connection. Those moments carried me forward.
Embodiment is not always found in grand gestures. Often, it is built through the small, steady commitments we make to ourselves.
Even when the heart is not fully present, the body remembers.
Movement—even in its simplest form—can begin to shift our energy and state of mind.
Going through the motions is not always failure. Sometimes, it is a bridge. It keeps us connected to the practices that sustain us until the spark of joy returns.
Devotion is built in the quiet repetition of daily life.
Today’s reflection:
How can you return to your core values through action today?
Today’s practice:
Notice any resistance without judging it. Then choose one small action that aligns with your truth.
Show up as you are. Let the practice be ordinary. Trust that consistency itself has value.
Love,
Dani
