Heritage Pointe of Fort Wayne A continuing care retirement community with all levels of care. At Heritage Pointe of Fort Wayne, it’s all about Joyful Living. That’s the Pointe.

Heritage Pointe of Fort Wayne is a continuing care living center that welcomed its first residents in January 2015. Nearly 90,000 square feet, the living center includes all levels of care - independent and assisted living apartments, healthcare, rehabilitation, and memory care. The Villas at Heritage Lakes is a 65-and-over free-standing, independent-living villa community located right on our cam

pus. Six floor plans, two and three bedroom models, two baths, two car garages. Our club house with fitness room, kitchen/coffee bar and gathering room is completely accessible at all times by our residents. Four lakes and nearly a mile of paved walkways add to the beauty of the neighborhood. We are the third location of Heritage Pointe Communities, and proudly affiliated with Heritage Pointe of Warren, IN and Heritage Pointe of Huntington. All Heritage Pointe Communities locations are owned and operated by the United Methodist Memorial Home (UMMH).

August Rehab News: When Therapy Can Help

Changes in strength, balance, mobility or everyday activities aren’t always something you simply have to accept as you age. Physical, occupational and speech therapy can help older adults maintain independence and continue doing the things they enjoy.

If you’ve noticed changes in your abilities, it may be worth talking with your doctor about whether therapy could help.

To the Pointe | Ask & Answer Series

Q: What should I look for in a senior living community?

A: Look for a community that fits both your current lifestyle and future needs. Consider the levels of care offered, the quality of the team, engaging activities and amenities, dining options, safety, opportunities to build meaningful connections, and the overall feeling you get when you visit. The right community should feel welcoming, offer opportunities to stay active and engaged, and provide peace of mind for the future.

At Heritage Pointe of Fort Wayne, we believe senior living is about more than care; it's about enjoying a vibrant lifestyle in a community that truly feels like home.

Celebrating Heritage Pointe of Huntington’s Anniversary

Today, we’re celebrating a special milestone in the history of Heritage Pointe of Huntington by taking a look back at the moments that helped shape this beloved community, from the groundbreaking ceremony to the early days of construction that laid the foundation for the community we know today.

While the community has grown and evolved over the years, the heart of Heritage Pointe of Huntington has remained the same: creating a welcoming place built on connection, compassion, and meaningful experiences. Through engaging lifestyles, enriching activities, and a strong sense of community, residents and team members continue to uphold the values that have guided Heritage Pointe from the beginning.

Every photo tells a story, and every resident, family member, and team member has helped create the memories that make this community so special.

Recently, our residents at Heritage Pointe of Fort Wayne enjoyed a special visit to My Little Barn, where they connected with animals, shared stories, and enjoyed plenty of smiles and laughter.

Creating experiences beyond our community is one of the many ways we help residents stay engaged, connected, and enjoying life!
