Donald Wrobbel Obituary
September 17, 1944 – August 31, 2026

Donald Wrobbel, 81, passed away peacefully on August 31, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family.

Born on September 17, 1944, Donald was the son of Frank Wrobbel and Daisy French. He was the youngest of eight children, affectionately holding the title of “the baby” of the family. He grew up alongside his siblings Doris, Pauline, Shirley, Edith, Richard, Raymond, and Barbara. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Doris, Pauline, Richard, and Raymond, and is survived by his sisters Shirley, Edith, and Barbara.

Family was at the heart of Donald’s life. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend who treasured the time he spent with the people he loved. He shared 56 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Clara Joan Wrobbel, until her passing in 2019. He was also preceded in death by his son, Michael Wrobbel, who passed away in 1988.

Donald had a gift for taking care of things and taking care of people. He loved working in his garden, was an excellent cook, and seemed to have the ability to fix just about anything. Whether he was tending to his garden, preparing something in the kitchen, or figuring out how to repair something that was broken, he found purpose in using his hands and providing for those around him.

He leaves behind a family who will carry his memory and the lessons he gave them for years to come, including his daughter and son-in-law, Deanna and Josh Anders; and his grandchildren, Bre, Brandi, Lily, and Caleb Anders.

Donald’s life was marked by the simple things that often mean the most: family, hard work, a well-tended garden, a good meal, and being there for the people he loved. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
