Other than our cemetery records, the research tool used most by our staff is Find a Grave. There are currently 54,447 graves at Lindenwood with photos of memorials. That number is truly astounding as all photos are uploaded by volunteers. Have you ever used this site?

Find a Grave is a free resource for finding the final resting places of famous folks, friends and family members. With millions of names, it is an invaluable tool for genealogist and history buffs.

Taking a stroll through Lindenwood's history has never been easier. Allen County Genealogical Society of Indiana is a great resource for ours and many other cemeteries in the area.

There are so many genealogy tools available online. We find that many of our visitors use The Genealogy Center Lindenwood database. This is an amazing tool provided by Allen County Public Library. Records are divided from 1860 -1975 & 1976 - 2024. We are so grateful that our community has this amazing resource! Have you been to the Genealogy Center lately?
