Right out of high school, John enlisted in the United States Army, beginning a path that would shape much of his early adulthood. During his first enlistment, he served in Germany as a truck driver, delivering essential supplies and supporting operations abroad. After five years, he chose to reenlist, this time transitioning into Army intelligence and serving in Turkey.

Beyond his military service, John has a deep passion for the open road – especially on his Harley Davidson motorcycle. He bought his first bike in 1968, a modest 125 cc, but that was just the beginning. Over time, he upgraded to larger and more powerful motorcycles, eventually owning one capable of cross-country travel.

For John, riding wasn’t just a hobby, it was a way to experience freedom and see the country on his own terms. Whether winding through small towns or cruising long stretches of highway, he found joy in the journey itself, embracing the sights and spirit of America along the way.
