Some of the hardest battles we face aren't always visible.

They're the generational patterns we long to break.
The triggers we don't always understand.
The boundaries we're learning to set.
The healing we've been postponing.

At the Jesus & Therapy Conference, we believe that faith and mental health can work together. God often moves through prayer, community, and new found knowledge & wisdom gained throughout our healing journeys.

This November, we're creating space for honest conversations that help us confront what we've inherited, release what no longer serves us, and step into greater freedom with both faith and practical tools.

No matter where you are on your journey, there's room for you!

July is National Minority Mental Health Awareness Month established by Bebe Moore Campbell💚 — a time to shine a light on the unique mental health journeys of minority communities and to keep breaking down the stigma that so often keeps people from seeking the support they deserve.

And what better time to share something close to our hearts?
We're beyond excited to premiere our 5th Anniversary Short Film — a look back at the journey that brought Courageous Healing to life, the community that has walked alongside us, and the hope we carry for the next 5 years and beyond. 🎥✨

Five years ago, we set out to further solidify our mission: to make healing accessible, to meet people where they are, and to remind our community that seeking help is an act of courage.

Watching that mission grow into what it is today has been the honor of a lifetime!

This month — and always — we're grateful for every person who has trusted us with their story.

Here's to honoring where we've been, and to everything still ahead. 💫

The urgent need for competent, licensed, and culturally responsive mental health services across Allen County is something we see every day. We know that people are hurting. Families are carrying heavy burdens, and too many are navigating life’s challenges without the support they deserve.

As mental health professionals, advocates, and community partners, we are honored to do this work—but we also know that those who care for others need care, too. Supporting the well-being of those on the front lines helps ensure they can continue showing up for our community with compassion, excellence, and hope.

This Minority Mental Health Month, we invite our community to help us pour into our team and our clients in meaningful ways. Here are a few simple acts of support that make a real difference:

💚 Drop off healthy snacks or meals for staff who often work late into the evening.
💚 Donate blankets, comfort items, journals, or self-care supplies for clients and clinicians.
💚 Volunteer at one of our community events or outreach initiatives.
💚 Make a financial gift to help keep mental health services affordable and accessible for those who need them most.
💚 Share our mission and resources with your family, friends, workplace, or faith community.
💚 Write a note of encouragement to clients or appreciation to our team—kind words go a long way.
💚 Partner with us as a business or organization to expand access to culturally responsive mental health care.

Let this also be a reminder to love on those in your life who have loved you well. When we invest in the people who provide care, we strengthen the entire community. Together, we can create a healthier, more connected Allen County where everyone has the opportunity to heal, thrive, and be seen.
