95 years old, nearly 500 songs, and a lifetime of love for music. 🎹💛

Meet Lou Newman, a resident at StoryPoint Carmel whose piano playing brings a little extra joy to her neighbors every day!

Whether she's welcoming visitors with a familiar tune, accompanying the resident choir, or playing a song that takes someone back to a special moment, Lou knows just how powerful music can be.

“People stop by the piano every day, they say, ‘I was so down this morning, but when I heard your music, it made me happy.’ So, how can you not play?”

A big thank you to Fingerle Farms for bringing a pumpkin patch right to our community! Our residents loved browsing the pumpkins and picking out the perfect one to decorate their apartments. 🧡 It was a wonderful way to celebrate the season, enjoy a little fall magic, and bring some autumn cheer into our homes!
Nothing says fall quite like pumpkins, smiles, and time spent together! 🍁

We fell straight down the rabbit hole and right into an unforgettable Mad Hatter Tea Party at StoryPoint!

The room was filled with laughter, whimsical vibes, and a touch of wonderful madness as we gathered for an afternoon of pure fun.
Here is a glimpse of our adventure in Wonderland:

•Oversized Games: We proved that bigger is always better when it comes to playtime! We challenged each other to giant games that brought out everyone's competitive—and playful—side.

• A Feast for the Senses: No tea party is complete without a spread fit for the Queen of Hearts. We indulged in delicious food and treats that tasted like pure magic.

• Tea and Togetherness: We poured cup after cup of delightful tea, raising our glasses to great company and even better memories.

"Have I gone mad? I'm afraid so. You're entirely bonkers. But I'll tell you a secret... all the best people are." Thank you to everyone who joined us and brought their own touch of madness to the party!

🌸 Thursday Fun at StoryPoint North! 🌸

What a busy day full of fun, friendship, and creativity! 🛍️ We kicked off our Thursday with a little thrifting adventure at The Treasure House, searching for special finds and hidden treasures. Then we headed to Union Social to enjoy a delicious lunch and great conversation with friends. 🍽️

To top off our day, we got creative with O’Fleur Flowers during a beautiful dried flower arrangement class! 💐 Everyone enjoyed creating something special and taking home a little piece of floral beauty.

From treasure hunting to tasty food to beautiful blooms, it was a Thursday well spent! ❤️ At StoryPoint North, it’s the little adventures and the time we share together that make life so special!

🚒 Safety First at StoryPoint North! 🚔

We were grateful to welcome the Allen County Fire and EMS to StoryPoint Ft. Wayne North as they helped us with a fire drill and spent time talking with our residents about important safety tips. ❤️

Safety is our #1 promise and an essential part of how we care for and protect our residents. We appreciate our local first responders for taking the time to educate, prepare, and connect with our community!

🍂🍺 Oktoberfest Fun at StoryPoint North! 🇩🇪💙

We brought a little taste of Germany to StoryPoint North with a wonderful Oktoberfest celebration! Our residents enjoyed delicious food, refreshing drinks, great conversation, and plenty of smiles as we gathered together on the patio.

From festive decorations to wonderful company, it was the perfect fall afternoon to eat, laugh, celebrate, and make memories with friends! 🥨🍻🍁

There’s nothing better than good food and even better company at StoryPoint North! 💙

🎀✨ What a DOLLY-licious day at StoryPoint North! ✨🎀

We celebrated the one and only Dolly Parton with an afternoon full of fun, laughter, and a whole lot of sparkle! 💕 We enjoyed watching a special Dolly tribute, sharing some of her most inspiring quotes, and watching our amazing residents show off their moves with a fun Dolly-inspired dance! 💃🎶

Of course, no Dolly party would be complete without plenty of pictures with Dolly herself! 📸🤠 Our residents had a blast posing for photos, enjoying amazing food and drinks, and celebrating the music, kindness, and joy that Dolly brings to so many people.

It was a day filled with big smiles, great memories, and a little bit of Dolly magic! 💖✨🎶

🍂 A Day of Food, Shopping & Fun! 🛍️

StoryPoint North had a wonderful day exploring Shipshewana! Our first stop was Das Essenhaus in Middlebury, where we enjoyed a delicious meal before continuing with shopping, exploring, and plenty of laughs along the way. ❤️

There’s nothing better than making memories, enjoying good food, and spending time with friends! What a fun day together!
