Today, we want to take you behind the scenes and show you something that may seem like a small detail, but means so much to the families we serve: the care and handling of every floral arrangement.

At Legacy, we understand that when someone sends flowers in honor of your loved one, those flowers represent more than a beautiful arrangement. They are a gesture of love, a token of respect, and a heartfelt expression of sympathy during one of life’s most difficult moments.

That’s why we take this responsibility seriously. From the moment we receive the flowers, we carefully check each arrangement to ensure it is accounted for, properly handled, and transported with the utmost care. We take pride in making sure every arrangement is placed securely in our flower van so it arrives at the church safely, intact, and just as it was intended to be displayed.

Welcome back to Day Two of our behind-the-scenes look at Legacy Mortuary Services! Today, we’re taking you inside the paperwork and planning process that helps bring every funeral service together.

There is so much more that goes into serving a family than what meets the eye. We sit down and review every detail, from selecting caskets and coordinating flowers to communicating with cemeteries and confirming all necessary arrangements. We organize paperwork, schedule appointments for families throughout the week, and make sure everyone knows where they need to be and when they need to be there.

At Legacy, we believe that the difference is in the details. We dot every “i,” cross every “t,” and double-check every arrangement because our goal is to eliminate unnecessary hiccups and ensure that when Friday arrives, everything is in place for a smooth, dignified, and memorable service.

Today, Legacy Mortuary Services was honored and humbled to serve the family of Mr. Robert Wilson as we celebrated his life and legacy at Truth Church.

It is always a sacred privilege to walk alongside a family during one of life’s most difficult moments. We are grateful for the opportunity to provide care, compassion, dignity, and a personal touch as we helped the Wilson family honor the life of their loved one.
