🏆 Congratulations to our Mount Vernon team for representing Caregiver at the Knox County Board of Developmental Disabilities Awards Luncheon earlier this month!

We were proud to see so many of our team members and the individuals we support recognized through award nominations, including:

Events like these remind us of the incredible impact our teams make every day and the importance of community inclusion, meaningful opportunities, and celebrating the accomplishments of the people we support.

A special shout-out to the Mount Vernon team—Kayce Bonnette, Mikaela Osborne, Brittany Lyon, and Ryan Matthews—for representing Caregiver so well. We also received wonderful feedback on our new Caregiver polos, which helped showcase the pride, professionalism, and unity of our team.

Thank you to the Knox County Board of DD for hosting such a meaningful event and for recognizing the outstanding individuals and professionals who help strengthen our communities every day.

Sometimes growth looks like:
• Trying a new activity
• Building a routine
• Speaking up
• Gaining confidence
• Learning life skills
• Joining the community
• Making a friend
• Becoming more independent one step at a time

At Caregiver, we believe every individual deserves opportunities to grow at their own pace while feeling supported, respected, encouraged, and included along the way.

One of the most rewarding parts of this work is watching individuals build confidence in themselves and accomplish things they once thought were out of reach.

No matter how big or small the step may seem, progress matters and every achievement is worth celebrating. 💙
