Summer brings sunshine, outdoor activities, and higher temperatures—but it also brings a noticeable spike in headaches for many people. These “summer headaches” are not usually caused by heat alone. Vertigo is a type of dizziness characterized by a sensation of spinning or whirling, even when you are stationary. It often feels like the room is spinning around you or that you are spinning yourself. Vertigo can result from various underlying causes, including inner ear problems such as benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV), vestibular neuritis or labyrinthitis, Meniere's disease, or certain neurological conditions. Symptoms of vertigo may also include nausea, vomiting, imbalance, and difficulty focusing or walking. Treatment for vertigo depends on its underlying cause and may include vestibular rehabilitation exercises, medications, maneuvers to reposition displaced inner ear crystals, lifestyle modifications, or surgical interventions in some cases.

🤯 Did You Know? Vertigo & Headaches Are Connected 🤯
Vertigo and headaches can actually feed off each other. When your system is irritated, it can trigger dizziness and head pain at the same time.

For some people, headaches can lead to vertigo. For others, dizziness can make headaches worse. It becomes a cycle that’s hard to break.

The good news 👇
With the right assessment and targeted treatment, you can calm the system and reduce both symptoms.

🎯 You don’t have to live in that cycle.
