Before EECP: 295 meters. After EECP: 360 meters.

That's a real Flow Therapy patient's six-minute walk distance, measured before and after a full course of treatment. A 22% increase in stamina isn't a marketing number; it's the difference between avoiding a walk and actually looking forward to one.

Five minutes, no cooking, and it still counts as an actual effort toward eating well, a good lunch option on a Flow Therapy treatment day.

Whole Grain Veggie Wrap
- 1 whole grain tortilla
- Hummus
- Spinach, cucumber, shredded carrot
- Sliced avocado
- Squeeze of lemon

Spread the hummus across the tortilla, layer in the vegetables and avocado, add a squeeze of lemon, then roll it up tight and slice in half. For some extra protein try tuna, grilled chicken, or steak.

Michael is a retired doctor, non-smoker, non-drinker. He did everything right. Still ended up needing a valve replacement and a two-vessel bypass in his early 70s. After that, he was given a choice: another surgery, or Flow Therapy. He chose Flow Therapy.

"After the 7 weeks, I was pain-free, and that continued for a full year." Sometimes the less invasive option is also the one that actually works.

"The greatest wealth is health." (Virgil)

Thirty-five sessions sounds like a lot until you break it down: less than 1% of your year. Most Flow Therapy patients feel the benefits for 2 to 5 years after that.

Q&A with our Clinic Director at Flow Therapy.

Q: Does EECP hurt?

A: No. Most patients describe the cuff inflation as a firm, rhythmic squeeze, more like a strong massage than anything painful. Some mild leg fatigue is common in the first few sessions and fades as your body adjusts. Most people read, nap, or watch TV through it.

This one is hard to mess up, which is the point.

Red lentil soup comes together in about 30 minutes, one pot, no complicated technique. It's high in fiber and plant-based protein, which makes it a solid option on a Flow Therapy treatment day when you want something warm and filling without anything heavy sitting in your stomach.

Red Lentil Soup
- 1 cup red lentils, rinsed
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 4 cups low-sodium broth
- 1 tsp cumin
- Salt, pepper, squeeze of lemon

Saute the onion and garlic until soft, add everything else, and simmer for about 25 minutes until the lentils break down. Finish with a squeeze of lemon.
