In Our Care 💚🕊️

With reverence, dignity, and compassion, we honor the lives entrusted to us. Each name represents a story, a legacy, and a family we are committed to serve with excellence and love.

Please continue to keep these families lifted in prayer. 🌳

“There shall come a day unshadowed by night—an eternal dawn where light never fades—and in that sacred brilliance, the streets of glory will be revealed… and I shall behold them, not in hope alone, but in promise fulfilled.”

With solemn hearts and unwavering reverence, we—the humble servants of Tree of Life—pause in sacred reflection to honor the life, legacy, and quiet strength of Mr. Derek Dewayne Valley, 59, who gently answered the call from labor to reward August 22, 2026.

In this moment, time stands still for those who loved him… yet eternity has already welcomed him. Details of his services will be articulated upon the completion of arrangements by the family.

IT’S IN THE DETAILS. 🇺🇸🌳

We are not the first, and we certainly won’t be the last.

There are many funeral homes that serve families with dignity, and we respect this profession far too much to ever suggest that excellence belongs to us alone.

But sometimes, it’s the smallest details that set you apart.

Look closely at these pictures.

Different churches.
Different sanctuaries.
Different caskets.
Different families.
Different services.

But there is one detail you’ll see again and again:

The American flag, specially pleated and carefully placed at the center of the casket. 🇺🇸

It may seem like a small thing.

To us, it isn’t.

That pleat has become part of the Tree of Life presentation—a simple but intentional touch of dignity, distinction and respect that travels with us wherever we serve.

Because we believe presentation matters.

Whether we are serving inside our own chapel, inside a neighborhood church, inside a cathedral, or somewhere we have never been before, our standard travels with us.

We don’t need to own the room to bring the Tree of Life standard into it.

When our staff enters a sanctuary, we pay attention to the details.

How the casket is positioned.
How the flowers are arranged.
How the family is seated.
How our staff presents themselves.
How the service flows.
And yes—even how that flag is pleated.

Why?

Because somebody entrusted us with the last earthly presentation of someone they love.

And that deserves intentionality.

That deserves excellence.

That deserves our very best.

We are not trying to be everybody else.

We are simply committed to being Tree of Life.

And after serving hundreds upon hundreds of families, one thing remains true:

Excellence doesn’t always scream. Sometimes, it’s quietly folded into the details. 🇺🇸

That’s what sets us apart.

That’s The Tree of Life Difference.™️ 🌳💚
