Tomorrow at 6 PM, I’m going live with Cultured Soul Henna | Fort Worth Henna & Jagua Artist | Educator and ✨𝕎𝕒𝕚𝕤𝕥𝕖𝕕 𝕓𝕪 𝕁𝕒𝕪 𝕃𝕒𝕚𝕟𝕖✨ to talk about why I decided to include henna and waistbeads, how adornment connects to the intention behind Between Worlds, and what VIP guests can expect.

No, I wasn’t tickling her. 😂

The voiceover focuses on the subscapularis, but there’s more going on in this clip. I’m also working with the rhomboids and other muscles around her shoulder blade, then gently moving the scapula to see how it moves and create room to address the deeper area.

That’s why I don’t treat every tight shoulder like it’s just one knot. The muscles around the shoulder work together, and how the shoulder blade moves matters too.

Did you know there was a muscle tucked on the front side of your shoulder blade?

Felt someone’s energy before they said a word?

Thought about someone right before they called?

That space between knowing and understanding is part of what inspired Between Worlds.

For VIP guests, the experience begins before the sound bath with intentional adornment.

Guests will choose between henna by Cultured Soul Henna or waistbeads by Waisted by Jay Laine. Each adornment is chosen with intention and carried into the sound journey as a physical reminder of what you are choosing to trust, honor, release, or reconnect with.

A little reminder: my massage table is still very much open. 😉

The Laine to Wellness has been growing. More sound baths. More workshops. More community and corporate experiences. More opportunities to create wellness outside of the treatment room.

And I love all of it.

But there’s still something about the one-on-one nature of massage. Time to actually listen to what your body has been saying.

Massage is where so much of this started for me, and it’s still a very important part of what I do.

So between the sound bowls, events, workshops and all the new things you see me creating…Yes, I’m still taking massage clients. 😂

We spend so much time being needed, productive, and available to everyone else.

Sometimes wellness is simply having a space where nothing is required of you. No performing. No fixing. No rushing.

Just space to breathe, notice what is present, and reconnect with yourself.

That is what I want every experience I create to offer.

Friday is almost here, and Autumn Equinox has turned into such a full little evening ya’ll. 🤎

We’re gathering at Hotel Dryce at 7 PM and the experience will feel different…

You’ll settle in with wireless headphones for a Silent Sound Bath, so the sound travels with you even while we’re outside under the evening sky.

Afterward, we’ll head into the Hotel Library for dinner provided by PF Chang’s, and Hotel Dryce created a special Equinox Spritz mocktail just for the evening that’ll be available for purchase at the bar. 🍹

And because apparently I like giving away massages 😂, two guests are going home with a 60-minute Hot Stone Massage from The Laine to Wellness.

POV: You finally booked the massage after saying “I need one” at least 12 times this month. 😭

You’ve been showing up for work, family, errands, appointments, responsibilities…all the things. Meanwhile, your shoulders are up to your ears and your body has been sending reminders you keep pretending not to notice.

Then finally…you choose yourself. 🥰

You walk in, see the table set, and realize for the next little while, nobody needs anything from you. You just get to receive.

If “I need a massage” has become part of your weekly vocabulary, go ahead and book the massage.
