In the city of Fort Worth, the most alarming infant mortality rates are recorded by African-American women. Some factors associated with why these babies die: they are born too soon (premature birth) and too small (low birth weight), weighing less than 5½ pounds, and recent statistics identify maternal infections. Early and regular prenatal care is one of the best ways to prevent these outcomes. T

he infant mortality rate for African-American babies is staggeringly high; in some statistics double the rate of babies of all other races and ethnicities. All training and support is provided by The Natural Way Fort Worth Birthing Project. This program is supported through funds from donations given by community supporters. Back in June 2020 and on the same day in 2023, I'm announcing my BLM Caribbean Connection.

If you live on any of the Caribbean Islands: Cayman Islands 🇰🇾 Barbados, Puerto Rico 🇵🇷, St. Martin, Virgin Islands (US & British), Cuba, Montserrat, Antigua and Barbuda, Grenada, Anguilla, St. Barthelemy, Dominican Republic 🇩🇴, Haiti 🇭🇹, Bahamas, Aruba 🇦🇼, Guadeloupe 🇬🇵, St. Kitts 🇰🇳, Trinidad and Tobago 🇹🇹, Dominica 🇩🇲, St. Lucia 🇱🇨, Jamaica 🇯🇲, Netherlands Antilles, St Vincent and Grenadines, Martinique 🇲🇶, Turks and Caicos, Navassa Island ...or any island locale that is need of birth doula support, you can join this training.

You will need to currently LIVE and plan to serve on the island you live on!

This year, this month, I will train doulas for $109.29.

Anybody who meets this criteria can register and join this virtual opportunity. And, I will support you as you do the work to support Black birthing families and impact birth outcomes on your island! This is my reasonable service!
