This World Environment Day, Lone Star Compounding Pharmacy is raising awareness about safe and responsible medication disposal practices.

✅ Controlled Medications
Take unused or expired controlled substances to a DEA-authorized Take-Back location.

✅ Hormone Patches
Fold used patches in half (sticky sides together), place them in a sealed bag, and dispose of them through an approved take-back program.

✅ Needles & Syringes
Place used sharps in an FDA-cleared sharps container. Never throw loose needles in the trash or recycling bin.
