Lotus Assisted Living filled the day with color, laughter, and creativity at our arts & crafts gathering, and our residents absolutely shined.
Research shows that creative activities like painting, knitting, and crafting can boost cognitive health, support memory, and may even help reduce the risk of dementia for older adults. Arts and crafts also offer a calming way to ease stress, lift mood, and give seniors a powerful sense of purpose and accomplishment as they create something with their own hands. Group art time helps our residents connect, make new friends, and feel less lonely, turning simple projects into moments of true community.
The event wasn’t just about making art—it was about honoring stories, sparking joy, and reminding every resident that their creativity, wisdom, and light are still growing, not fading. 🌸🎨
