called our inborn or innate intelligence, which is transmitted through our nervous system from our brain through our spinal cord and out to our organs, tissues, and the tips of our fingers and toes. Dis-ease or disharmony can occur without symptoms or signs. This is why chiropractors are most interested in wellness. Chiropractors do not treat illnesses, pain or symptoms. We help the body's ability to communicate with the intelligence that we were all born with. Our innate intelligence is then better able to heal illnesses, decrease symptoms and increase awareness with our environment. Amazing isn't it?

We’re proud to spotlight one of our distinguished graduates, Macy, from Campbellsville University School of Chiropractic.

After graduating in May 2025, Macy is now serving as an associate chiropractor at Children’s Family Chiropractic Center, where she is making an impact in a family-centered practice.

Macy was initially drawn to CUSOC for its small class sizes and the opportunity to complete multiple clinical rotations during her final year. During her time in the program, hands-on learning and personalized faculty feedback played a key role in shaping her confidence and clinical skills. She recalls the excitement of performing her first cervical adjustment—what once felt intimidating has now become one of her favorite aspects of patient care.

One particularly meaningful experience was working with a pregnant faculty member, which helped her build confidence in caring for special populations and prepared her for the work she does today.

Now in practice, Macy focuses on pediatrics and pregnancy care, while also serving a wide range of patients—from infants to grandparents and even local fire department leaders. Her passion lies in caring for her youngest patients, especially those 0–12 months old.

Her advice to current and future students:
“Don’t be afraid to dream big in order to become the kind of doctor you want to be. Write down your vision and keep it in sight for those hard days when you’re faced with the unknown. Gain wisdom from faculty and doctors in the field while you can, take that leap of faith, and God opens the right doors.”

We’re constantly amazed at how God works all things together for good for those who love Him. 🙏✨

What started as repeated ear infections became something so much bigger—because without that journey, Donna and her son may have never walked through our doors. 💛 Chiropractic care was completely new to her, as was a more holistic approach to wellness, healing, and true wholeness.

Donna often says she’s been blessed by our office—but the truth is, we feel just as blessed by her. 🌸 She brings joy, beauty, and so much fun into this space, along with her love for Jesus and for others.

As we continue to celebrate some moms that you may have never met, but who may have inadvertently impacted your life, we turn to Dr. Macy's mom.

Dr. Macy shared the following with us recently; "My mom first introduced me to preventative chiropractic care as a high schooler. We would get adjusted as a family together and I began to notice my sleep would improve that same night! Years later, I know my decision to become a chiropractor started because my Mom planted that seed."

Dr. Macy says, " I thank her for laying the foundation for my journey into holistic healthcare!"🩷 And anyone who knows Dr. Macy also thanks her mom, we are all so grateful that her journey has led her to our office.

Motherhood is powerful, beautiful...and physically demanding.

From pregnancy to postpartum, form carrying babies to chasing toddlers - moms put their bodies through a lot. That's why taking care of yourself isn't a luxury...it's essential. Chiropractic care is one of the ways moms can support their health naturally-helping with posture, relieving tension, improving mobility and keeping the nervous system functioning at it's best. And for kids, gentle chiropractic care can support healthy development, sleep and overall well-being as they grow.

THIS IS SOMETHING I HAVE SEEN FIRSTHAND! My mom has always been a huge inspiration to me when it comes to living a healthy lifestyle. She made movement a priority with home workouts, took time to relax and recover in the sauna, and stayed consistent with chiropractic care. It wasn't about quick-fixes-it was about building habits that supported her body long-term.

Watching her showed me what it means to truly invest in our health-and it's a big part of why I'm so passionate about helping other families do the same. Moms, you deserve to feel good in your body. And your kids deserve a strong, healthy version of you.

We are kicking off the Mother's Day Celebrations early this year. We want to highlight a few moms this year that have impacted YOUR life even though you may have never met them! Let's start with Dr. Heather's mom, Kate! Kate encouraged Dr. Heather to visit a chiropractor after suffering migraines. Thanks to her mother's persistence she finally gave in, made an appointment, found healing and the REST IS HISTORY! We not only thank Kate for influencing Dr. Heather towards chiropractic care but she also has influenced her in her faith as she cherishes her faith in Jesus above all else! Let's all wish Kate a Happy Mother's Day as we wouldn't be in this chiropractic community without her!

Kate is a reflexologist. She loves her husband Bill and her large family. She is a warm-hearted, generous, and always brings joy and laughter to our lives. Make sure to say "hi" and thank her if you see her in the office.💗💐🌼
