There’s a reason you’ll find playdough in so many pediatric OT spaces.
It looks simple. It’s inexpensive. And kids usually think they’re just playing.
But while they’re rolling, squishing, pinching and playing - they’re also getting opportunities to work on so many skills.
And honestly, that’s one of my favorite parts about playdough. Kids can decide where the play goes, with the skills naturally falling into place.
That’s exactly what we are doing at this weeks Play Dough Party at WELL-Nurtured Development
