Think your “back pain” is just your back? 👀
Endometriosis can show up as low back, sacral, hip, or pelvic pain, especially around your period.
Why? Endometriosis can contribute to inflammation, irritation of surrounding tissues and nerves, and protective muscle tension. Your pelvic floor, psoas, abdomen, and low back can all become part of the pain pattern.
That’s why treating the back alone may not address the whole picture.
✨ If your back pain:
• Gets worse before or during your period
• Comes with painful periods or pelvic pain
• Is associated with painful s*x or bowel movements
• Feels deep, achy, burning, or difficult to pinpoint
• Keeps coming back despite traditional back treatments
It may be worth looking at the pelvis, too.
Your pain is real. And you deserve an evaluation that looks beyond the obvious.
Save this if you’ve ever been told, “It’s just back pain.” 💛
