Today is World Elder Abuse Awareness Day - June 15
Every year, millions of older adults experience abuse, neglect, or exploitation and far too many cases go unrecognized or unreported.
At Advanced Home Care, protecting the dignity, safety, and well-being of every person we serve is at the heart of what we do. Our caregivers are trained to recognize warning signs and to treat each client with the compassion and respect they deserve - in the comfort of their own home.
Elder abuse can take many forms: physical, emotional, financial, and neglect. It can happen anywhere- including in the home, which is why choosing trusted, professional care matters.
If you suspect an older adult is being abused or neglected, please speak up. In Massachusetts, you can contact the Elder Abuse Hotline at 1-800-922-2275.
Together, we can shine a light on this issue and make sure the seniors in our community are safe, supported, and valued. 💜

🌟 Happy Nursing Week from Advanced Home Care! 🌟
This week, we're shining a spotlight on someone whose story is as extraordinary as the care she delivers - meet Svetlana Berezin, RN, our Chief Compliance Officer and Clinical Director.
Svetlana's journey began in Baku, Azerbaijan. In 1991, her family fled as refugees during the dissolution of the Soviet Union, eventually finding a new home in the United States. That resilience never left her.
After earning degrees from Salem State University and Regis University, she joined Advanced Home Care in 2018 and was promoted to Clinical Director in 2022, overseeing nursing staff across all six counties we serve and leading our compliance program.

But Nursing Week isn't just about one person. It's about every nurse on our team who answers early morning calls, holds a patient's hand when family can't be there, and brings dignity into every home they enter.
To Svetlana and our entire nursing team - Thank You! Your work matters. Your patients know it. Your colleagues know it. And this week, we want you to know it too. 💙
