We closed out the month of July with volleyball, cooking with Tracy, and our 1st annual wheelchair wash.

Special thanks to the Lutheran youth groups from St Paul’s-Caro and Peace Lutheran-Saginaw. They sent us 28 middle school students and 5 chaperones to help wash our walkers, wheelchairs, and ourselves!

Our residents made some new friends. Everyone was cleansed and had bubbles of fun! Thank you also to Heartland Hospice and Compassus for providing the games, treats, and the “blow dryers” for the wash. At the end of the day our residents faces were sparkling with joy! They had so much fun! I have so many pictures, too many to share.
