Another busy week here at Covenant Glen filled with activities from using our fine motor skills making caterpillars and octopuses, to making faces using our memory skills to correctly place our face, this was a blast!

Our daily sit and fit, keeping the balloon from hitting the floor using a lot of upper body muscles as well as eye/hand coordination. All helping to keep our minds stimulated while using the best medicine, laughter!!😂

To celebrate national assisted living week which runs from September 14 through September 18, please see the attached flyer for a list of activities that we have planned for our residents and staff. We invite families to join us on Wednesday, September 16 from noon to 230 for a hotdog and hamburgers on the patio along with games and entertainment.

Families, if you would, please read through the week of activities calendar to see if there’s possibly anything you can provide to your loved ones to help them participate in all of the fun events we will have going on that week. If not we will still include them and find ways for them to participate.

We have everything from a red white and blue day to a superhero day. We will be judging for best outfits, best costumes, best smile, most participation, etc. just to have some fun during this week. The theme of the week through the National Association is entitled “shining through the years.”
