PERSONAL PILGRIMAGE: Birch Run Township resident and Visiting Angel’s owner Doug Hammond recently returned from Washington, D.C., joining over 1,000 fellow Alzheimer’s Disease advocates from all over the United States to continue to fight for a cure. Three important discussion points were made to elected officials on Capital Hill.

Our owner Doug is in Washington DC for the Alzheimer’s Association Advocacy Forum. Tomorrow Doug and over 1000 plus advocates will go to Capitol Hill to meet with legislators and ensure Alzheimer’s legislation and research funding is a priority.

We have a winner's choice blanket raffle starting this week. The winner gets to choose one of these amazing blankets. These are high quality handmade blankets. We will draw the winner at the Saginaw Walk to End Alzheimer’s on September 27th.

Raffle entries are $10 per entry. (If you donate $30 you get 3 entries or if you donate $50 you get 5 entries and so on)

Unlimited tickets will be available. All proceeds go to Team Family Matters to Visiting Angels and benefit the Saginaw Walk to End Alzheimer’s.
