Happy Equinox, everyone!
The Equinox reminds us that balance is a crossing, not a place where life stays.

At the Autumn Equinox

For one fleeting moment,
the Earth seems to hold
light and darkness in almost equal measure.
Then it keeps moving.
Perhaps there is wisdom in that.
Balance was never meant
to freeze us in place.
Living things balance through movement,
adjustment, release, and return.
And perhaps autumn asks something deeper
than what we are ready to let go.
It asks what deserves to come with us.
Which love has grown stronger?
Which truth survived the difficult season?
Which dream still has roots beneath the soil?
As we cross this ancient threshold
between light and darkness,
perhaps we can leave some things behind.
And carry the essential things forward.
We don't only choose what to release.
We choose what deserves to remain.
Because every season of letting go
is also a season of choosing what remains.

Jupiter in Leo sesquiquadrate Neptune retrograde in Aries – ‘Am I okay?’ the question seems to float in the air, lacing itself like cobwebs on an autumn morning, a flimsy discomfort, a sticky sore point. Mother spider reminds that weight-for-weight, spider-silk is stronger than steel. Don’t let perfectionism trip you up. Remember that you have the skill and strength to make a difference; to be of sacred service; to know what is important and what isn’t. Don’t let the volatility of the outer world wrestle away your inner peace.

We can care deeply without being consumed by it. We can believe fervently in a better world without ignoring the horrors of the current one. Channel your light into the fire of compassion. Let yourself dream but corral ideas to stop them stampeding. There is work to be done, healing to do and joy to be had – but not all of it must be done today. Pace yourself. The harvest will come.

Chiron retrograde re-enters Aries. Mercury in Libra opposite Saturn retrograde in Aries. First Quarter Moon in Sagittarius – There are loose ends to attend to. Consider how far you have come since 2018, the pain endured, the trials overcome. It’s time to acknowledge both strengths and weaknesses and know that you are whole no matter what.

It’s a challenge sometimes though, to ignore other people’s opinions, to endure denial, to deal with a no. But when we stand respectfully in our own truth, it brings a different kind of strength - an inner poise that refuses to be toppled. Think about what anchors you, what gives your life the most meaning. What supports you from the inside out? There is a world of opportunity awaiting you, a wide-open horizon that calls your name.
