Owned and operated by Stephanie (Dybas) Rauscher, Dwell in Peace is a consulting company that assists people with diverse abilities to improve independence, safety and quality of life in their own home. People of all ages who have difficulty engaging in daily living activities within their home are my target audience. I will help identify hazards and obstructions that hinder engagement in daily l

iving skills, and assist them in learning how to use adaptive equipment/assistive technology devices to make task performance easier, reduce accidents and support independence. Assistance will range from the use of simple, low cost items and ideas to more expensive options for making the home accessible. I will train and educate consumers and caregivers on understanding the nature of the disability and how it affects daily living, help identify problem areas and work together with the consumers and their caregivers to find solutions that will allow individuals to remain safely at home. I will explore options for funding, find necessary devices and share information on qualified people that can assist with daily living skills.
