🌼 Today's lesson came from a flower.
This little plant has tested every ounce of my patience.
It gets watered.
It gets fertilizer.
It gets sunshine.
It gets attention.
He was doing so well until the past week and all of a sudden he looks very….frazzled lol

Today I found myself pruning, cutting away the dead, and wondering if there was any hope left.

Do you ever feel like this flower? I sure do.
The good news is that our Master Gardener never gives up on us.
Sometimes He waters.
Sometimes He waits.
And sometimes...He prunes.

Pruning isn't punishment. It's preparation. God doesn't remove things from our lives because He's finished with us. He removes what is keeping us from becoming everything He created us to be. John 15 uses the picture of a gardener pruning branches so they can become even more fruitful.

So if you're in a season that feels a little messy...don't lose heart.
There is still beauty to come.
